During my term as Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner, I've made tackling violence, especially against women and girls, a priority. I am very pleased to have provided over 250,000 StopTopps free to clubs and pubs across Sussex to protect against drink spiking with more to come.
Spiking is no joke - it's dangerous and it's a criminal offence. It can make someone extremely unwell and vulnerable and the effects of it can be very dangerous. These drink covers provide protection and peace of mind so that those enjoying our night-life across Sussex, can do so in safety. We are lucky to have a wealth of arts, music and cultural events all year round in Sussex and I want people to enjoy what our fantastic county has to offer whilst also keeping safe.
